Infoshare “eduGAIN in practice” – register to participate

On October 29, 2026, the National Research and Education Network RENAM organizes the Infoshare “eduGAIN in practice” for members of the Moldovan research and education community.

Online services are crucial for modern research and education, and integrating them into everyday university practice is essential for capitalizing on global opportunities offered by the pan-European academic network GÉANT. eduGAIN enables participating institutions and their affiliated users and services to interconnect efficiently with multiple authentication and authorisation infrastructures. With a single trusted identity from their own institution, users can access different services worldwide.

This session is for anyone utilising RENAM FileSender and advanced Open Science capabilities of the EOSC EU Node through eduGAIN. The primary goal is to explore key challenges in modern research workflows, share knowledge and help participants operate efficiently within data-intensive environments. Faculty staff, researchers, and students from the Moldovan universities that are members of the LEAF national identity federation – Moldova State University, Academy of Music, Theater and Fine Arts and Comrat State University – are very welcome to join this session.

The Infoshare will be held online, 14:00-15:00 Chișinău time using the RENAM video conferencing support service. The link to access the session will be sent to all registered participants.
