On March 30, 2023 the Inaugural Event of the National Open Science Cloud Initiative in the Republic of Moldova (MD-NOSCI) will take place. The event is organized by the Moldova State University, the National Agency for Research and Development and the Research and Educational Networking Association of Moldova (RENAM), with support of the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova and the Academy of Sciences of Moldova.
The main goal of the event is the establishment of the National Open Science Cloud in the context of the development of the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) ecosystem. This event will be held at the Moldova State University (60 Alexei Mateevici Street), central building, 2nd floor, Senate Hall, 10:00 – 12:00.
Organisational support for the event is provided by the NI4OS-Europe (National Initiatives for Open Science in Europe) project. NI4OS-Europe project comprises 22 partners from 15 countries, supporting the establishment of the National OSC Initiatives in the participating countries, promoting the FAIR data principles and providing technical and policy support for on-boarding of service providers into EOSC, including generic services (compute, data storage, data management), thematic services, repositories and data sets.
