On behalf of Organizing Committee we kindly inform you about preparation of the Fiber Link Moldova-Romania Inauguration event – one of the key events of the Information Technologies Week in Moldova – 2010.
This Inauguration is dedicated to the successful completion of NATO EAP.NIG 982702 „New RENAM-RoEduNet gateway based on CWDM technologies implementation” and European Commission „SEE-GRID elnfrastructure for regional eScience (SEE-GRID-SCI)” projects. Fifer optics link creation project was realized in cooperation with partner NREN from Romania RoEduNet and local partner StarNet Ltd.
Realization of a series of very important international projects supported by European Commission, NATO and other European organizations permitted National Research and Educational Network of Moldova RENAM to construct modern wired and wireless infrastructure for e-science, e-education and e-medicine of Moldova, to create a network of high-skilled specialists, to establish National CERT security service, to join pan-European GEANT network connecting Moldova with Academic & Research e-infrastructure of Europe and to create fundamental components of National Information Society in Moldova.
To attend the inauguration event are invited representatives from European Commission, NATO and other European organizations, representatives from the Government and the Parliament of Moldova, profile Ministers, the Academy of Sciences of Moldova, Rectors of the Universities of Moldova and heads of research and educational institutions connected to RENAM network.

| 30 April – | submitting of titles of presentations for inclusion reports in the Event programme |
| 10 May – | Forming and distribution of the Event program |
| 20 May – | Event participants registration, Workshop opening, the Event working sessions with reports presentation |
| 21 May – | Visits and work meetings with local stakeholders in interested organizations in Moldova |
