As you know, RENAM (the Moldovan NREN) took part in the framework initially as an Underwriter. After discussions between GÉANT and RENAM, we’ve decided that Moldovan participating institutions can use the framework through the Referrer model.
Initially the Referrer cost recovery fee will be 0%. As per the framework contract, the percentage can later be changed (5% is the maximum) and if so, we will inform you. As you are aware, this fee will be collected by you as part of your regular invoice. This change should have no impact on your marketing and sales activities. RENAM will continue to assist in terms of dedicated training sessions, potential upcoming national joint sessions and distributing information from GÉANT.
All Moldovan institutions and participating entities are free to contract with the Moldovan resellers directly, without any interference by RENAM.
